#sunathon

So its the #sunathon this week (starting today and ending on Sunday) and I am super excited. This is the first read-a-thon I have ever participated in. It just seems so friendly  - and who doesn't want to combine reading with the sitting in the sunshine?

It was created by the lovely Emma Louise who has a wonderful blog post about it at http://emmaloubookblog.wordpress.com/sunathon/  and can be found on Twitter: @EmmaIsWriting.

The aim is to read as many books as possible from your #sunathon TBR pile and tweet and blog about your progress ... I'm blogging today (obviously) will update on Thursday and will blog again next Monday morning (the #sunathon finishes at midnight on Sunday ...)

Here is my TBR:

I wanted to use this week as motivation to read something different so I have included;
1) A prequel: Ajax Penumbra 1969
2) A crime novel: The Cuckoos calling
3) A sci-fi thriller: The Stepford wives
4) A psychological thriller(ish): The dangerous Liaisons

However, I was worried that they would freak me out (I'm a wimp) and so, at the last minute, included Anna and the French Kiss. On the Jellicoe road is a maybe as the copy I ordered hasn't actually arrived yet ....

I will be very proud if I get through half this list and looking at the other TBR's I may have gone a little overboard but its good to set yourself a challenge, right ....?
